KAIST Global Presidential Scholarship (KGPS):
- Full tuition for 4 semesters (Master’s or PhD)
- Monthly stipend of KRW 1,000,000
KAIST Prestige Scholarship (KPS):
- Full tuition for 8 semesters
- Monthly stipend of KRW 300,000
KAIST CoE PhD Fellowship:
- Full tuition for 4 years (PhD)
- Monthly stipend of KRW 2,500,000

Eligible Nationalities
This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities. (Except Koreans)
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the KAIST Graduate Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be international students without Korean citizenship.
- For Master’s programs: Submit proof of a Bachelor’s degree.
- For PhD programs: Submit proof of a Master’s degree.
- Final-year undergraduate or Master’s students expecting to graduate before September 2025 are also eligible.
English proficiency requirements:
- TOEFL iBT:Â 83
- IELTS:Â 6.5
- TOEIC:Â 720
- TEPS:Â 326
- English Proficiency Waiver:Â Applicants from English-speaking countries or those who completed their previous education in English are eligible for a waiver.
Application Procedure
Required Documents
Ensure all documents are in Korean or English. Submit:
- A scanned copy of your national ID.
- National IDs of both parents.
- Family registration proof showing the relationship with parents.
- Academic certificates and transcripts.
- English proficiency test results (if applicable).
- Two recommendation letters.
- CV (if recommendation letters are from employers).
- Proof of honors, awards, or employment.
