Benefits
1. University of Oulu Scholarship 2025-2026
- The University of Oulu Scholarship is designed for international students who meet the tuition fee criteria. This scholarship is awarded based on academic excellence and potential.
2. Nokia Scholarship for 2025-2026
- Amount: €3,000, paid in one instalment.
3. CWC Scholarship 2025-2026
- Amount: €6,000, disbursed in two instalments.
Instalment Conditions:
- First in September 2025.
- Second in January 2026 upon completing 20 ECTS credits in Autumn 2025 with a weighted average of 2.5 or higher.

This scholarship is open to internationals students of all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria
1. University of Oulu Scholarship 2025-2026
Eligibility:
- Open to non-EU/EEA students required to pay tuition fees.
- Students must meet the admissions criteria.
- Scholarship is awarded only once and is not transferable.
Selection Criteria:
- Based on previous academic performance and potential.
- Results are announced alongside the admission decision.
Continuation:
- Maintain a minimum of 60 credits annually to retain the scholarship.
- Exceptions may apply in cases of approved study leave.
2. Nokia Scholarship for 2025-2026
The Nokia Scholarship focuses on supporting students advancing in System-on-Chip (SoC) and Radio Frequency (RF) studies within selected Master’s programs.
Eligible Programs:
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Electronics
- Wireless Communications and Engineering
- Sustainable and Autonomous Systems
Selection Process:
- Based on academic evaluation and interest in SoC or RF-related career paths.
- Applicants may be invited for an interview.
3. CWC Scholarship 2025-2026
Offered by the Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC), this scholarship supports students in the Wireless Communications Engineering Master’s Program.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must apply to the Wireless Communications Engineering program.
Key Deadlines:
- Tuition Fee Payment:Â By July 10, 2025 (if applicable).
- Scholarship Confirmation:Â By July 10, 2025.
- Arrival in Oulu:Â September 2025.
Tuition Fee Exemptions for EU/EEA Students
Students from EU/EEA countries or Switzerland are exempt from tuition fees. Exceptions apply for specific residency permits or conditions, such as:
- EU Blue Card
- Permanent (P) residence permits
- EU residence permits for long-term residents

- Submit the scholarship application via the Studyinfo portal along with the admission application.
- Application Period: January 8 – January 22, 2025 (15:00 GMT+2).
Note: Applicants who are not EU/EEA citizens are required to pay an application fee.
