The Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan invites applications from
bright and motivated Pakistani/AJK nationals for the prestigious Post-Doctoral
Fellowship Programme (Phase-III).
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have:
PhD from HEC-recognised local or foreign university (HEC-attested or equivalent)
Placement letter from a Top 200 QS-ranked university/research institute
Regular faculty/researcher position in HEC-recognised university or public sector R&D organisation
Never availed any post-doc fellowship (funded or self-funded)
Age not more than 45 years by October 30, 2025
5 years’ work experience in Pakistan for those applying after a foreign PhD
Important Note

Incomplete applications or those without required
documents/NOCs shall be rejected
HEC reserves the right to cancel the process at
any stage without assigning any reason
